BECOME A TRAINEE
2econd Chance is a computer recycling charity providing British Computer Society accredited training and industry work experience for people furthest away from the job market. We specialise in supporting people to become work-ready including NEET (not in employment, education or training) adults, long-term unemployed and young people (aged 16-25) with an Education Health Care Plan. Individuals interested in computers can be referred to either pathway through community or voluntary sector organisations.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Our work experience programme focuses on the fundamentals of computer hardware and software management. Working alongside our specialist staff, individuals will learn industry skills in the refurbishment of desktops, laptops, tablets and phones. The work experience programme is perfect for anyone wanting to gain industry experience and understand more about possible career options or a stepping stone into a career in IT.
ACCREDITED QUALIFICATION
As a pathway into employment, 2econd Chance is delighted to be a British Computer Society (BCS) Tech 10 accredited training provider. Our 12-week course (delivered over 50 hours) aims to teach practical skills required for entry-level IT roles alongside the development of softer skills needed for success in the workplace.
Complete our online form to register your interest in either pathway and a member of the team will be in touch. Alternatively, for more information please contact info@2econdchance or 020 3784 8280.
