We are an employment support charity for people furthest away from the job market.

 

We offer workplace experience and training programmes in refurbishing unwanted IT hardware or picture framing to adults not in education, employment or training (NEET) and young people aged 16-25 with an Education Health Care Plan who have been long-term excluded from the workplace. We support people with physical disabilities, learning differences or social, emotional and mental health needs.

When they come to us trainees are carefully supported throughout their placement with us whether that be IT refurbishment or picture framing - whichever course interests them the most. Or they are welcome to try both.

Whichever course they choose, they get hands-on experience and the chance to learn new skills as a way of preparing them for the workplace. 

 

Through their time with us, many trainees report enjoying having somewhere regular to come each week where they are seen, valued and taught new skills. This in turn gives them increased self belief and a greater preparedness and confidence to apply for jobs and enter the world of work.
